Minority
Even after getting the minority status on 27th January 2014 from Central Government, our field experiences showed us that there’s a lack of information about the rights and benefits that minority community members get through various schemes. In order to eradicate the domination, BJS Delhi has taken the following steps:
- Collated all information about various schemes that offer benefits to the minority community and got trained about the process of applying for minority status and for availing the benefits.
- In order to create awareness, the team of BJS created multiple channels to disseminate this information through a set of published books for laypersons in very easy-to-understand resources which were shared among the population through various means.
- Designed a one-day workshop for Educational Institutions to specially make them aware of the advantages in running and establishing minority institutions.
